Our Work
Marketing Strategy / SEO & Website Conversion
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Project overview.
Its work was visually distinctive, with a portfolio that communicated its attention to materials, proportion and detail. But the website wasn’t doing enough to help potential clients discover that work through search.
Kivorun partnered with Flora&Fauna to strengthen the connection between the studio’s services, portfolio and online visibility.
Our aim was to help more people looking for relevant design expertise find their way to Flora&Fauna.
THE CHALLENGE
Beautiful work deserves to be found.
Flora&Fauna already had a strong visual identity and a portfolio that reflected its design approach.
The difficulty was making that work discoverable to people who didn’t already know the studio.
Much of the website focused on presenting completed projects, while giving relatively little attention to the questions potential clients might search for when looking for design services.
Service descriptions were brief, the relationship between services and relevant projects wasn’t always clear, and individual pages offered limited context for search engines or first-time visitors.
The website showed what Flora&Fauna could create. It needed to do a better job explaining where its expertise could help.
OUR OBJECTIVE
Improve organic search visibility by making Flora&Fauna's services, expertise and projects easier to understand and discover.
The priority was attracting more relevant website visits through existing and improved content, while keeping the studio’s design-led character intact.

Let the work lead. Give the details room to speak.
OUR APPROACH
Give great work the context it deserves.
We began by reviewing how Flora&Fauna presented its services and portfolio, then considered how potential clients might search for those offerings.
People looking for design expertise don’t always start with a studio’s name. They may begin with a particular type of space, a design challenge or the service they need.
Our strategy connected these areas of interest with clearer, more descriptive website pages.
Rather than introducing large amounts of generic SEO content, we focused on making the studio’s existing expertise easier to find and understand.
The visual work would remain central. The supporting words, page structure and links would help it reach the right audience.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
What we delivered.
01
Search-focused content planning
We reviewed relevant search topics and grouped them around Flora&Fauna's services and areas of expertise. This provided a clearer direction for page headings, service descriptions and supporting content, ensuring each page addressed a meaningful visitor need.
02
Better service and project pages
We strengthened the relationship between what Flora&Fauna offered and the projects demonstrating that expertise. More descriptive introductions, clearer content hierarchy and relevant supporting information gave visitors — and search engines — a better understanding of the studio's work.
03
A more connected website structure
We improved how key service and project pages linked to one another. Relevant internal links, descriptive navigation and targeted on-page SEO improvements helped visitors explore the studio's work without losing their sense of direction.
WEBSITE & CONTENT DIRECTION
Let the work lead. Give the details room to speak.
The content approach was deliberately restrained.
Flora&Fauna didn’t need its website to feel like a marketing brochure. It needed clear information that supported the photography, projects and design thinking already at the heart of its brand.

Website content direction pairing interior photography with a clear service message.
Service discovery
Clear service introductions explain the studio’s areas of expertise and help potential clients understand which offering may suit their project.
Project storytelling
More informative project narratives connect design decisions with the needs of each space, giving visitors useful context beyond the photographs.
THE RESULTS
Stronger visibility brought more visitors to the website.
+26%
organic website sessions · 3 months
Over the three-month reporting period, Flora&Fauna recorded a 26% increase in organic website sessions against the agreed pre-project baseline.
HOW THE RESULT WAS MEASURED
The outcome was measured through website sessions attributed to organic search, with the same channel definition applied throughout the comparison.
This metric reflects growth in organic website traffic. It does not imply an equivalent increase in enquiries, signed projects or revenue.
The improvement indicated that more search-driven visits were reaching Flora&Fauna as its services and projects became easier to discover.
What we learned
For a design-led business, strong imagery and clear information work best together.
A compelling portfolio shows the quality of the work. Useful page content explains its relevance and makes that work easier for potential clients to discover.
Flora&Fauna demonstrated the value of improving content structure without compromising the visual identity that made the studio distinctive.

Every space begins with a purpose.
